Construction policies, estimates, change orders, and warranty terms

This website is provided by Titan Construction Group for informational purposes about our construction and remodeling services. By accessing and using this website, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Estimates & Pricing

Written estimates are provided prior to all project work. While we make every effort to provide accurate estimates, final costs may vary if unforeseen conditions (such as hidden structural issues, code non-compliance, or material availability changes) are discovered during the project. Any additional work beyond the original estimate requires your written authorization before proceeding via a change order. All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Material pricing may change due to supplier availability and market conditions. We will notify you of any changes before proceeding. Estimates are based on visible conditions at the time of inspection and may be adjusted if hidden conditions (such as structural deficiencies, water damage, or code violations) are discovered during work.

Change Orders

Any changes to the agreed scope of work require a written change order signed by both parties before the additional work begins. Change orders document:

  • The description of the additional or modified work
  • The adjusted project cost
  • Any impact to the project timeline
  • Your signature authorizing the change

Verbal agreements to change scope are not binding. We will not perform work outside the original estimate without written authorization, and we will not charge you for work beyond the original scope without a signed change order.

Materials & Warranty

We use quality materials from reputable suppliers. Unless otherwise specified in writing, materials are selected by Titan Construction Group based on project suitability and industry standards.

  • Workmanship Warranty: 1 year on all completed work from the date of project completion
  • Materials Warranty: Passes through to you per the manufacturer's warranty terms. Most structural products carry 10-25 year warranties; roofing shingles vary by product.
  • Warranty is void if the work is modified, damaged, or altered by another contractor without our written consent
  • Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, acts of nature, or damage caused by homeowner neglect

To make a workmanship warranty claim, contact us in writing within the warranty period. We will inspect the issue within 10 business days and repair any defects covered under warranty at no charge.

Subcontractors

Titan Construction Group may use licensed, vetted subcontractors for specialized trades (such as electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work) where required. All subcontractors:

  • Are licensed in their respective trade in the state of TN
  • Carry their own general liability and workers' compensation insurance
  • Are managed directly by Titan Construction Group and held to our same quality standards
  • Are disclosed to you prior to beginning work if you request it

Permits & Inspections

For projects requiring permits, Titan Construction Group will pull all required permits on your behalf as part of the project, unless otherwise specified in the estimate. Permit fees are included in the project estimate or itemized separately.

All work is performed to meet or exceed local building codes. We coordinate required inspections and will not close out a permit until all inspections pass. You as the property owner are the permit holder of record.

Payment Terms

Payment schedule is outlined in your project estimate or contract. Typical terms:

  • Deposit due at project start (percentage specified in estimate)
  • Progress payments for larger projects at milestones agreed in writing
  • Final payment due upon substantial completion
  • We accept check, ACH transfer, and major credit cards

We do not release the final lien waiver until final payment is received. Projects may not commence until the initial deposit is received.

Site Access & Safety

You agree to provide reasonable access to the work area during agreed project hours. Active construction areas present hazards — please keep children and pets away from the work zone. Titan Construction Group maintains a clean and organized job site and performs daily cleanup of construction debris.

Limitation of Liability

Titan Construction Group's liability is limited to the value of the contracted work. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions undisclosed at the time of estimate, or for damage to personal property or landscaping in areas not protected per our pre-construction walkthrough agreement.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of TN, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
